I am Lauren Rice, the Founder and CEO of Plastic Detox. My passion for environmental issues was ignited during my college years, particularly through a course where I conducted a survey among friends and family about their plastic usage and its impact on pollution. The results were eye-opening: most of us were unaware of the harm caused by plastic. This revelation sparked the inception of Plastic Detox.

 

In my search for sustainable solutions, I explore various plastic-free products and trends, sharing my experiences through my blog and offering curated plastic alternatives in my shop. I approach my business with an open mind, valuing continuous learning, collaboration, and feedback. While I may not be an expert in renewable energy or carbon emission reduction, my aim is simple: to educate others about plastic pollution and its devastating effects on our planet, while providing practical solutions.
