Environmentally Friendly & Compostable Restaurant Supplies

Compostable Restaurant Supplies FAQ

What types of eco-friendly takeout containers do you offer for restaurants?

We carry a wide range of sustainable packaging, including compostable clamshell containers, bowls, plates, trays, cups, and utensils. Our products are made from renewable materials such as sugarcane (bagasse), bamboo fiber, seaweed coatings, and cornstarch-based PLA. Whether you need packaging for dine-in service, takeout, or catering, we provide durable, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional plastic and Styrofoam.

Are your compostable products safe for hot and cold foods?

Yes! Our containers are designed to handle both hot and cold foods. They are resistant to grease and liquids so you can serve soups, salads, entrees, and desserts with confidence.

What’s the difference between compostable, biodegradable, and recyclable packaging?

-Compostable packaging is designed to break down in a commercial composting facility into natural elements that enrich the soil, leaving no toxic residue.

-Biodegradable packaging will eventually decompose through natural processes, but it may take much longer and doesn't always guarantee an eco-friendly breakdown.

-Recyclable packaging can be collected, processed, and turned into new plastic materials.

Are your restaurant products PFAS-free and plastic-free?

Yes we are PFAS-free and strive for 90% plastic-free products. While we never add new plastic to our packaging or products, some brands that we sell, package their products in plastic sleeves for shipping. We ensure all of our eco-friendly packaging is safe for your customers and the planet.

Do you offer bulk pricing for restaurants and catering businesses?

Absolutely. We provide competitive pricing for restaurants, cafes, food trucks, and catering companies. Bulk ordering ensures you save money while keeping your business sustainable. Contact us here for a quote or save some money by setting up a product subscription for recurring supply needs.

How should my customers dispose of compostable food containers after use?

For best results, compostable containers should be placed in a commercial composting facility where available. Some areas also accept compostable products in curbside green bins. We recommend checking with your local waste management provider for composting options in your area (resource for this coming soon).
