Sip Responsibly with Compostable Cups

Compostable Cups FAQ
Looking for sustainable hot and cold cups that deliver top-tier performance without the plastic waste? Our compostable cup range is designed for cafés, restaurants, caterers, and eco-conscious businesses who want to serve drinks responsibly. From piping-hot coffees to refreshing iced beverages, our durable, plant-based cups make it easy to switch to sustainable solutions that are better for your customers and the planet.
What are your compostable cups made from?
Our hot and cold cups are crafted from renewable, plant-based materials like PLA (a bioplastic made from cornstarch) and FSC-certified paper. Hot cups are lined with a thin layer of PLA for heat resistance and leak protection, while cold cups are made entirely from PLA for a crystal-clear, plastic-free alternative. All materials are food-safe, strong, and designed to replace conventional plastic cups without compromising on performance.
Are your products compostable, recyclable, or biodegradable? What’s the difference?
Most of our cups are certified compostable, meaning they break down into natural materials in a composting facility, typically within 90–180 days. “Biodegradable” is a broader term that simply means the cup will eventually break down, but compostable products are tested and certified to do so within a specific time frame. Some paper components may be recyclable depending on your local facilities, but composting is the most sustainable end-of-life option.
Can I use these cups for both hot and cold drinks?
We offer separate cups designed for hot and cold beverages to ensure optimal performance. Hot cups are designed to handle high temperatures without softening, while cold cups are made from PLA for clarity and cool-drink durability. For best results, choose the cup type that matches your drink temperature.
Do your compostable cups require special storage?
Yes, compostable cups should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Extreme temperatures can affect their shape and performance over time.
Can I order samples before making a larger purchase?
Absolutely! We offer samples of our hot and cold cups so you can test the look, feel, and performance before committing to a full order. It’s a great way to make sure the cups meet your needs and align with your brand’s presentation.
How should I dispose of compostable cups after use?
The best way to dispose of compostable cups is through a composting facility, where they’ll break down into nutrient-rich soil. Some cups can also be composted in home systems, though breakdown times may vary. If composting isn’t available, they can be sent to landfill, but composting remains the most eco-friendly option. We recommend checking local composting and recycling guidelines to ensure proper disposal.
